Monday Escape

I’m back! Surely you all missed me deeply. 😉 It has been a busy week—and to start this one off, Dad began texting me about 7 this morning to tell me that my sister had gone into labor (rather early, as Mom and I suspected she would—2 weeks early, actually). The little fella made his entrance at last at 8:45! No name yet—well, my brother-in-law and sister have been keeping it mum and have apparently decided to continue that for the time being. I’m rather excited. Let the Auntie Mame-ing begin!

Have a great Monday, everyone!

  1. Really lovely, punchy close up shot – I truly think that bright, crisp turquoise like that is one of the most beautiful, upbeat colours on earth. I can never get enough of seeing or wearing it.

I’m sincerely sorry to hear that you sump pump ran into troubles recently – yikes! Problems in that area sure can cost a pretty penny to repair, too, and I hope dearly that you weren’t left with a giant bill in the wake of it malfunctioning. Here’s to the hope (fingers crossed) that neither of us deal with any more unwanted water anywhere on our properties ever again!

Wishing you a beautiful, low stress second half of July,
    ♥ Jessica

    • Thank you, Jessica! It was not a big repair bill—none at all, actually, just something got messed up that we were, happily, able to fix ourselves! But it was no fun nonetheless. I’d rather catch the glitch in time (as we did) than have a flood as you did. 😦

Yes to no more unwanted water in everyone’s home. If we want basement swimming pools, we both know how to get that done! Enjoy your mini-holiday. 😉
